A New Way to Frame Prints

After many prototypes and hours of planning I have finally figured out how to make these wooden print hangers. This year I set myself the challenge to make some attractive wooden hangers to display art prints, they had to be easily taken apart so you can change the print whenever you want, and also not do any damage to the print.

I thought about using magnets to hold the print to the wood, but NZpost don't allow the sending of magnets, internationally or domestically. I came up with the idea of using a screw system with relies on tension to hold the print in place, so there is no damage to the print. I rent my home so I can't put massive screw holes in the walls, these are a great way to hang art beautifully without doing damage to the walls by hanging massive heavy frames.

I have also been working on creating more art prints to sell, by the end of the year I aim to have a collection of different style prints, but at the moment calendars are my number one priority. The problem is that I have too many ideas, I need to narrow them down. I'm especially having fun playing around with typography and I'm excited to see where all these ideas take me. I might end up having 5 or 6 different calendar designs and sizes, oh the possibilities!
