This art print depicts a group of kororā / little blue penguins.

We’re so lucky to have the world’s smallest penguins, and the only penguins with blue feathers gracing the shores of Aotearoa. These cuties spend their days out looking for fish in the ocean then return to land in the evenings in large groups known as ‘rafts’. They sadly face so many threats including lack of food, pollution, entrapment in fishing nets, predation from introduced pests and they also get attacked by dogs on shore. Life is tough for these little critters.

This art print is based on an original hand-painted gouache artwork. Each print is created with long-lasting matte pigment inks on textured, high quality archival 100% cotton rag paper.
